Blan Capital is an investment management firm that focuses on sourcing and managing residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use real estate and related equity investments.

 

With international experience in emerging and developed markets such as Turkey, Germany, Canada, and United States, we are a value-oriented investment firm that seeks attractive risk-adjusted returns by targeting opportunities to acquire or capitalize assets that are undervalued, overlooked, complex or mismanaged. Our strategy is to assess the most efficient way to operate a property to generate returns by recognizing potential, reducing operating expenses, increasing tenant/guest satisfaction, and leveraging market trends to maintain a property’s long-term competitive edge.

Commercial Assets

 Blan Capital focuses on the acquisition and management of real estate across all asset classes including hospitality, office, and retail. With an approach that is opportunistic yet selective, we are developing a portfolio of top-performing assets in strategic markets.

Residential Projects

We use a disciplined and analytical approach to evaluate potential residential projects, and we use the best local partners including architects, engineers and sales teams to ensure the correct expectations are set.

Co-Investments

Our private investment activities are primarily relationship-driven co-investments with like-minded, trusted investors. We have also invested in a number of venture capital (equity and debt) funds.

DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal

Located in the heart of Downtown Montreal’s Entertainment District across from the Place-des-Arts in the Complexe Desjardins, the recently renovated DoubleTree holds 595 spacious rooms complimented by numerous food & beverage outlets and 45,600 square feet of expansive event space with underground access to the Montreal underground city. In conjunction with its elevated amenities, including an indoor swimming pool and a terrace that features live music, the recent, substantial refurbishment primes the Hotel to fully capture Montreal’s diverse expanse of demand generators.

Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown

With its proximity to Old Montreal and downtown core, the Hyatt Place Montreal is a 353 room property that offers an ideal base for guests to enjoy all the city has to offer. The hotel has direct access to the Place Dupuis complex and Berri-UQÀM Métro and it features 8,600 sq.ft. of meeting space, an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, a restaurant and a bar.

Delta Hotel By Marriott, Quebec

Connected by an underground corridor to Convention Centre Québec, this conference hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Jardins de l'Assemblée Nationale and a 7-minute stroll from historic Le Capitole de Québec theatre. The 377 modern rooms offer coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, and free WiFi. Upgraded rooms and suites add elements such as evening appetizers and complimentary continental breakfast, walk-in showers, larger TVs, living areas with sofas, and dining tables/chairs. Amenities include a business center, an exercise room, a sauna, and a heated outdoor pool. There's also 40,000 sq ft of event space, plus a bar and a restaurant.

Hotel MOCO, Montreal

Originally built as a cotton mill in 1901, Hotel MOCO is a 127 room full-service hotel located 45 minutes from Montreal downtown that features a 15,500 sq.f.t convention center and a commercial mall, which includes a billiard's hall, spa, restaurant, doctor offices, and a gym. The property is strategically located near highways 20 and 30 between Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto and 36 km from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. 

Bayfront Towers, Miami

255 NE 1st Street, Miami

Bayfront Towers is a 38,000 sq ft site approved for a mixed-use project to develop two towers of 62 and 52 stories, encompassing over 800 residential units, 120 hotel keys, and 7,205 SF of retail in the heart of Miami Downtown. The property is currently operating as a 238,000 sq ft parking garage with 863 stalls and occupancy rates of 90%.

Arcadium Shopping Mall, Ankara

Owned and operated by Blan Capital, Arcadium is a landmark shopping mall featuring 395,000 square feet of retail space, 1300 parking spots, 105 retail stores, a large food court with 14 outlets, 7 premium restaurants with direct street access, and a state-of-art cinema.

Beytepe Villas, Ankara

A visionary development project boasting 26 exquisite villas and 30 sophisticated apartments, set within Ankara's vibrant landscape. Gentzrode, Berlin

1,300 acres of farmland and forestry with 14,000  of built space including the heritage-protected estates; ‘The Manor House’ and ‘The Granary’. Blan Capital is developing three 18-hole golf courses, a 5-star boutique hotel and 400 golf estates on this historic site, which is only a 30 minute drive from Berlin city center

Koza Kanyon, Ankara

The 16.500 m² site located in the heart of Turkey's capital was acquired and rezoned for a mixed-use project, which consists of 301 residences, 6 retail units and a health club center totaling of 116.500 m² of a construction area.

One Tower, Ankara

The 5.5 acre site in Ankara's most prestigious neighborhood was acquired and rezoned to a mixed-use project of 306 residential units on 48 floors as well as a 5 story shopping mall. The site was sold by our company with building permits and construction was completed in 2016.

Delta Hotel by Marriott Toronto East

Only a 15 min drive from Downtown Toronto, this iconic property is a full service hotel featuring 366 rooms, a large atrium with waterslides, a spa tub, a racquetball court, and a health club as well as 30,000 square feet of meeting spaces. The property was sold by Blan Capital in June 2018.

Delta Hotel Redevelopment, Toronto

The adjacent sites of the Delta Hotels by Marriott East Toronto were rezoned and developed by Blan Capital into a mixed-use project of 1044 residential units and 5 retail units totaling of 112.000 m² in three phases. The site was sold in June 2018 with all approvals in place.
